Making Do issue 3 is the product of a creative dialogue between artists, designers and children. The Making Do editors organised, set the parameters for these creative exchanges and invited twelve artists and designers to work in partnership with Manorfield Primary School in London. At the beginning of the process, the six artists worked with the children on different aspects of creating a new planet. Following, a second workshop took place in the school where the six designers along with the children continued the dialogue by processing, reflecting or re-thinking the ideas and production methods of the first workshop. Editorial decisions were made as a result of these collaborations by all parties, including the Making Do team that followed the actions into productions.
